El Patio del Pozo

Patio del Pozo belonged to Calleja Vinagreros 3, which became part of Bodegas Campos in 1953. It preserves some of its initial features, just like el Patio del Santo Dios.

In one corner of the patio, the old well that gives it its name opens discreetly, protected by a simple curb of iron bars. From them rises a brief arch where the carrucha hangs. The irons of the curb support pots and gitanillas that cover their nakedness.

The ivy coexists with a bougainvillea, jasmine and a lemon tree, which climb the walls to the roof in search of light. At the corners of the patio, four lanterns provide the dim lighting of a typical alley at night.
