Our History
A business where tradition meets innovation
Bodegas Campos opened its doors back in 1908 dedicated fully to wine ageing, specifically from Montilla and Moriles. Today, after an arduous journey, Bodegas Campos is a gastronomic and cultural reference in Córdoba, characterised by its protection towards the popular traditions.
Just a short walk away from the Cathedral, nestled in the borough of La Axerquía, an industrious area in the Arab period -mainly working in silver and leather- was the primary commercial area of the city in the Nineteenth Century and is today a World Heritage Site.
Inside its walls, open to the public since 1964, we can find an interesting collection of historical houses and patios cordobeses from various periods, preserved with affection and simplicity – the symbol of the House.
We are home to an extensive collection of vintage posters about our Ferias and Bullfighting festivities, and also to the exclusive oak barrels signed for the illustrious guests, both national and international, who have been with us over the years: The Royal Family of Spain, Chiefs of state, flamenco artists, writers, bullfighters and artists.
