Opposite the Sala de las Bodegas is the dining room of Los Célebres, a charming gallery that pays tribute to some thirty illustrious Cordobans who, to be included here, must meet three requirements: be from Cordoba, be friends of the establishment, and have done something notable for the city. Oval photographic portraits of the chosen ones are displayed on its austere white walls.

The name also plays on the double meaning of the word “celebrity” in this region: it is not only famous, but also someone whose words and deeds have a good reputation. Célebres has a maximum capacity of 16 diners.

The “celebrities” photographed provide an opportunity for diners to discuss Antonio Gala’s latest book, the legendary bullfighting exploits of El Cordobés, or the transformations Córdoba has undergone under the leadership of Mayor Antonio Cruz Conde. The gathering is guaranteed.
