the mill
The Mill is the largest room in the house. Its size and atmosphere evoke the olive oil mills of the Córdoba countryside, the largest buildings that existed in these agricultural regions during the pre-industrial era. It has an adjoining room, Las Piletas, suitable for large celebrations requiring more space.
From here, the view of Córdoba is very beautiful, although it is also impressive to discover a previously unknown image of the Guadalquivir River. The Mill is bathed in cheerful midday light, nuanced by the stained-glass windows created by the artist Tomás Egea, inspired by the diverse agricultural products of Córdoba.
This room hosts various sociocultural events, conventions, and conferences, and almost always hosts lunches and dinners for family celebrations, except on cool summer evenings when it is possible to do so outdoors.
